Public Tracking: Day 18

Day 18: Phase 1 Day 4 of 21

Morning Weight: 214

Thoughts: The cardio is a challenge, as I’m limited by my ankle’s mobility and rehab instructions. I picked up some Hemp Protein at Whole Foods. I think I did something wrong when I used it. Time for some more investigation if I’m going to use it.

Public Tracking: Day 12

Day 12: Reset Day 12 of 14

Morning Weight: 214.2 (+2)

Thoughts: I’m up 2 lbs from yesterday. I’m hoping that it is water weight. Since I can’t eat any fresh vegetables for the next 2 days, there was a bunch of extra salt in what I could eat. I drank a good amount of water that I haven’t seen yet and I’m feeling a bit bloated. Fingers crossed, today I have less sodium filled food and I’m working to get my water intake high. 6 cups before noon is half my daily intake goal. On the down side, Potato & Garlic soup + Hemp Protein tastes like lawn clippings to me. I’ll get it down, but I’m really looking forward to Wednesday night when I can get back to eating the fresh vegetables that were mocking me from the fridge this morning. Tomorrow I’m on clear liquids, I found some suggestions online to get extra nutrients into broth. I premade my broth, then cooked Udan noodles in it. The added starch should help tomorrow.

Public Tracking: Day 11

Day 11: Reset Day 11 of 14

Morning Weight: 212.2

Thoughts: It’s probably coincidence, but after a celebration of some type I’ve been seeing the scale go down. The last four days of this Reset are going to be a challenge. I’m going to try to stay on the plan as much as possible, but I’m also prepping for a less than fun diagnostic test on Day 14. Once I finish checking in here today, I’ll be crosschecking my lists of what I’m supposed to be eating to see if anything other than broth and water are on both.

Public Tracking: Day 10

Phase: Reset Day 10 of 14

Morning weight: 213.2 (-0.2 after holiday lunch at work)

Thoughts: As long as there are carrots & celery around, I should be okay with the holidays. I had a sample of anything that smelled good yesterday, but the only things that tasted good were simple and mostly unprocessed.
